QR codes
Two different QR codes that are easily confused:

Web album QR#
Shows the QR code permanently on the start screen so guests can pull the gallery onto their own phone.

Both lines of the card appear in the language of the guest out of the box. A custom text takes their place and then applies to every language alike — useful for a note that is meant in one language anyway, the name of the couple for instance. With both lines hidden the QR code stands alone on the card.
Single-image QR#
Gives a guest exactly their picture, without it having to appear in the web photo album.

On the printout#
The single-image code can also be placed on the printed image. This is set up in the layout editor with a QR element targeting "Single-image QR"; it deliberately does not appear in the stored photo. How long a print job waits for the address is set in the "Timeouts & error messages" section — ten seconds by default.
No cloud, no QR code#
Both features need an upload route. If cloud upload is off or privacy by default is on, they are not offered at all.
