For operators

Pay-per-use: guests pay before the photo

For trade fairs, bars, fun fairs and street festivals, where the guest pays rather than the host. Payment runs via Stripe, on the phone also with Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal. The money goes straight to the operator's Stripe account.

What would you like to do?

    Top up by phone

For trying it out: prices and credit are examples, nothing is charged here.

    Three payment models

The main difference is the fees: Stripe charges a fixed share per payment. Topping up 20 € once costs less in fees than seven separate payments of 3 €.

    Single payment

Every session and every print is a payment of its own. Fits few, rather expensive sessions.

    Credit code

Top up once, each session is deducted. Fits groups and trade fairs with many sessions per guest.

    Pre-authorisation

A maximum amount is reserved on card or PayPal, only the part used is collected after the event.

    Setting prices

    Per capture mode

Photo, GIF, boomerang and AI portrait each with its own price, 0 means free.

    Printing

A base price per job plus a price per copy, optionally with copies included.

    Volume pricing

Up to three tiers: guests who take many sessions pay less from a certain session on.

    Pay what you want

The price becomes the minimum, anyone can give more. Fits charity events.

    Topping up without a queue

    QR code on the phone

Nobody types a card number in public, and the booth is free again sooner.

    Tablet as top-up station

A tablet at the entrance handles top-ups, the booth only accepts codes.

    Payment QR stand

An A4 stand for tables or the entrance: scan, pay, get a code.

    Several booths

Codes are stored at Stripe. A freshly topped-up code works at every booth of the event right away.

    Codes and accounting

    • Lock codes, refund remaining credit and issue free codes, for example as a prize in the prize draw
    • Sales per event across all booths, as CSV for billing the host
    • "Close event" settles pre-authorisations, ends the codes and refunds remaining credit automatically if you like
    • Keep taking photos during network trouble, charges are booked afterwards

    Demo mode

For trade fairs and demonstrations the payment is only simulated, without any Stripe account. For a real trial run a Stripe test key is enough.

Pay-per-use needs a connection to Stripe. Where the network is shaky, payment in advance to the operator is the more reliable choice.

    Set up in four steps

    1. Stripe accountCreate an account at stripe.com. Testing works even before Stripe's verification.
    2. Enter the keyIdeally a restricted key, the test key first. No webhook needed.
    3. Payment methodsTurn on PayPal in the Stripe dashboard, Apple Pay and Google Pay are usually active already.
    4. Enable for the eventChoose the payment model, enter prices and top-up amounts, set payment via QR code.
