Switch photo booth lighting automatically instead of leaving it on all night

Continuous light burning all evening, hot electronics and improvised motion detectors: LightControl V2 solves this by switching softbox lights, trigger lights and further accessories directly from RAWCaptureBooth – in sync with the session workflow.

Light exactly when it is needed

The control unit is part of the software workflow: from the start screen through the countdown to the capture itself.

Automatic on/off management

Two 230V outputs switch softboxes or continuous lights on only while a session runs. That protects the lamps and reduces heat inside the booth.

Signal LEDs as trigger light

Three 5V outputs drive signal LEDs that show guests the right moment – much clearer than a countdown on screen alone.

Timing through the hot shoe

The hot shoe input can optionally be connected to the camera so the signal light matches the exact moment of capture.

Temperature monitoring with V2 Temp

The Temp variant monitors the temperature inside the booth and can trigger alarm notifications and an automatic shutdown when critical values are reached.

Why switched lighting pays off in rental operation

  • Less heat inside the housing and therefore more stable hardware during long event nights.
  • Longer lamp lifetime because they only run during sessions.
  • Clearer guest guidance through a signal light instead of guests asking when the photo is taken.
  • No improvised setups with motion detectors or manually switched power strips.
